MASSACHUSETTS COVID-19 Update

Effective July 30, 2021: The Massachusetts Department of Public Health has issued a new mask advisory in light of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s updated guidance. Fully vaccinated individuals are advised to wear a mask or face covering when indoors (and not in your own home) if you have a weakened immune system, or if you are at increased risk for severe disease because of your age or an underlying medical condition, or if someone in your household has a weakened immune system, is at increased risk for severe disease, or is an unvaccinated adult.

Face coverings will still be required for all individuals on public and private transportation (including rideshares, livery, taxi, ferries, MBTA, Commuter Rail and transportation stations), healthcare facilities and providers, congregate care settings and health and rehabilitative day services.

Effective May 29, 2021, all remaining COVID-19 restrictions will be lifted and all industries will be permitted to open.  All industries will be encouraged to follow CDC guidance for cleaning and hygiene protocols.

At the resort, all staff will continue to wear masks and guests over the age of 5 are urged to wear masks, if not fully vaccinated, in accordance to the updated CDC guidelines.

For Maintenance or Housekeeping staff to enter a room that is occupied by guests, the guests will be required to wear their masks for the protection of our staff members.

**Please note: Private businesses may choose to require masks to enter the premises.  Face Masks are required in all indoor public settings in the City of Boston, on Nantucket Island and in Provincetown.
