General Information
Check-in Check-in begins at 4:00PM. All units are inspected by Engineering and Housekeeping after cleaning. Units are not available for occupancy until 4pm. Your cooperation with this policy insures proper cleaning and maintenance of all units.
Check-out Check-out is at 10:00am. Your unit may be subject to inspection prior to check-out, so please allow ample time. You must return all key cards issued to you by the front desk before the check-out process may be finalized. Returning to a room which has been checked-out is a violation of Resort policy and is subject to a $25.00 fine. Late departures are subject to a partial or full-day charge. Call the Front Desk for details regarding Express Checkout.
Cooking No cooking of any type is allowed in any area of the resort (except microwave use). This is a Town Ordinance and includes, but is not limited to, crock pots, toasters, popcorn poppers, hot plates and toaster ovens. The Resort will impose a $30.00 fine against the individual registered to the unit for each occurrence. Charcoal grills are located by A-3 near 109 (check map); BBQ utensils and charcoal may be obtained in the Racquet Sports Club for a minimal charge.
Coffee Maker Coffee packets are available in vending machines throughout the Resort. Coffee filters are provided by Housekeeping and should be in the unit. Contact Housekeeping at Ext. 695 for assistance in operation or for additional coffee filters.
Cots & Cribs There is a one-time $30.00 charge for the use of a cot or crib (1 per unit). Call Ext. 695.
Clothes Washers / Dryers Located across from unit 216 Cost: Washers $1.25 per load. Dryers $.75 for 45 minutes.
Convenience Stores For a 24-hour convenience store, take a right from the Cove, Christys Market and 7-11 are located at the second traffic light.
Beach Passes (Seasonal) Call the front desk for details.
Dry Cleaning Crown Cleaners is located on Whites Path. Take a right out of the Cove, follow Rte. 28 to the Riverview Restaurant, take a left at the set of lights and then bear left. Take a right at the second set of lights and youre on Whites Path.
Emergency Dial 8 or 9 + 911 in case of an emergency. Please contact the Resort Operator by dialing 0 so that we are aware you are in need of help, may assist you immediately and/or direct Emergency assistance accordingly.
Engineering To report any problems in your unit dial Ext. 695.
Fax & Copy Service Available through the Front Desk. Fax charges are: $1.00 per page for domestic, $2.00 per page for International. Copy charges are $.10 per page.
Fire Hazard Please familiarize yourself with the two (2) nearest emergency exits to your unit. In the unlikely event of a fire alarm, every guest must vacate the building. If you cannot exit your unit, call the Front Desk immediately and inform them of your whereabouts. The Yarmouth Fire Department will announce when it is safe to return. Orderly, calm action following the evacuation route and instructions outlined on your door will insure everyones safety. Any open flame is strictly prohibited. THIS INCLUDES CANDLES. Due to the threat of fire, anyone found burning any type of material may be subject to immediate eviction.
Foreign Currency Exchange For information pertaining to local banks please contact the Front Desk.

Heating & Air Conditioning Each unit is individually controlled by its own thermostat. For assistance in operation or mechanical problems contact Engineering at Ext. 695.
Housekeeping Owners and Exchanges will have no housekeeping services provided. A midweek cleaning may be provided for a fee of $30.00. This includes dusting, vacuuming, dish washing, bathroom cleaning, bed making, towel exchange and a replenishment of supplies. Daily housekeeping is available for a charge of $125.00 per week. Upon your departure, please take a few minutes to bag your trash, wash your dishes and remove your bed/sofa bed linens. Please make a final check of your unit for any personal belongings.
Rental Guests paying over $70.00 per night have daily maid service provided at no additional charge. Bed sheets are changed every other day. Daily service is from 9AM to 2PM, Fridays and Sundays after 4PM. Guests should make arrangements with housekeeping for special servicing requirements. (All maid service requests must be made by calling Ext. 695.)
Housekeeping Gratuities Your unit was prepared for you by our Housekeeping Staff. Gratuities are graciously accepted and may be left in the envelope provided in the unit.
Internet Access Please contact the Front Desk for details.
Inventory Housekeeping has completed an inventory sheet for each unit prior to your arrival. Please contact Housekeeping at Ext.695 upon check-in should you find items missing.
Ice/Vending See your Resort map for the machines closest to your unit.
Key Cards Unit key cards will not be issued to anyone except the person registered to the unit; identification may be required. If you are expecting someone to use your unit while you are away from the Resort, you must leave a key card with the Front Desk along with instructions as to who will use it. Your key card(s) will also open the indoor/outdoor pools, Health Club, as well as the entrance doors at night. Please return all key cards upon departure to the front desk.
Laundromat A self service laundromat is located approximately 2 miles from the Resort. Take a right onto Rte. #28 and it can be found on the right hand side, Cape Cod Laundry.
Lost & Found Please inspect your room thoroughly before you check-out. Housekeeping holds items for ten(10) days. Items left behind will be sent via a local mail service, upon request. Items left in the Pool area are forwarded to the Housekeeping Department.
Mail Incoming mail is held at the Front Desk. Leave stamped outgoing mail at the Front Desk for daily postal pick-up.
Medical The Cape Cod Hospital offers outpatient and emergency treatment. The Town of Yarmouth has Paramedic and EMT services available to the general public. All medical emergencies should be reported to the Front Desk so that we may call the appropriate emergency service. Please inform the Front Desk of any serious medical conditions. Nearest walk-in clinic is Mid Cape Medical on Bearses Way, Hyannis. Open 7 days.
Messages if you have messages or mail, your telephone message light will be lit on your telephone. Please dial 74 to retrieve your messages.
Newspapers The following newspapers are available in the vending area next to unit #133: Cape Cod Times, Boston Globe, The Herald, USA Today, and the New York Times.
Parking All automobiles must be registered with the Front Desk. There is no Reserved Parking at the Resort. A registered guest may park wherever an open space exists. Visitor parking is allowed only in the Racquet Sports Club parking lot. Do not park in the areas marked No Parking or on the lawn. An official Handicapped Placard is required for use of Handicapped Parking spaces. Handicapped parking spaces are reserved specifically for handicapped units. Registered guests and visitors must display their Parking Permit while at the Resort. Parking violations are subject to a $25.00 fine for each occurrence, assessed to the registered guest. Vehicles parked in No Parking Areas or unauthorized use of Handicapped Parking spaces are subject to towing at the vehicle owners expense. Parking regulations are strictly enforced.
4 Bros Bistro Consult the marquis by the lobby elevator or call Ext. 614 for entertainment schedule, hours of operation and nightly specials.
Pets Pets are not allowed on the property. Arrangements may be made at local pet boarding facilities. Guests requiring the use of service animals should inform the Front Desk at check-in.
Post Office From the Resort turn right. The West Yarmouth Post Office is after the third set of lights on the left.
Quiet Time The Cove at Yarmouth prides itself as a family resort. Excessive noise must cease at 11 PM. This includes the hallways and parking lot. No loitering will be permitted after 11 PM. Please keep your television and/or stereo volume down and respect the privacy of other guests at the Resort.
Refrigerators Overstocking refrigerators will cause them to freeze-up, as will leaving the thermostat on its highest setting. Please leave the refrigerator setting on four (4). Any mechanical difficulties should be reported to Engineering at Ext. 695.
Responsible Party The individual who registers for a unit is responsible for the actions of all members of his/her party and for any damaged or missing inventory. All charges for damages in the unit or throughout the Resort will be the responsibility of the registered guest or owner, as applicable. There must be a responsible adult (21) in the unit at all times to take responsibility for underage guests.
Restaurants & Attractions Many establishments offer specials and discounts to Cove guests. Please check with our Activities Department for coupons and recommendations or call Ext. 646.
Room Security Each unit is equipped with a security Electronic Key Device and deadbolt. Key cards are issued to registered guests. The deadbolt can only be disengaged from inside the room. We recommend locking all doors and windows whether you are in or out of the unit. The sliders are also equipped with security bars. Always deadbolt your guestroom door.
Safety Your safety is our primary concern. Please notify Management if you observe any situation that you feel may be a potential problem or concern to you, other guests or the Resort. All reports of vandalism or problems will be held in confidence. Please do not hesitate to call the Front Desk regarding any concern, dial 0.
Safety Deposit Boxes Available through the Front Desk, free of charge and may be accessed 24 hours a day.
Security We employ security to monitor the Resort. All exterior doors, as well as the lobby corridor doors, are locked at night for your safety. Your unit key card will access these doors when locked. Security may be contacted through the Front Desk by dialing 0. Always deadbolt your door.
Sofa Beds Linens for the sofa beds are kept in the main closet. Please remove all linens before refolding the sofa bed, as this will avoid tearing the sheets and damaging the mechanism.
Television / DVD Each unit is equipped with a DVD player, two color television sets and provide basic cable stations. DVD rentals are available in the main lobby. Any problems with reception or operation should be directed to Engineering at Ext. 695.
Pool Towels & Linen Exchange Towels, Linen and unit supplies may be obtained from the towel exchange room located by the Indoor Pool, adjacent to Unit #135. Soiled towels may be exchanged as often as necessary on a one-for-one basis. Towel Exchange is open daily from 8:00am until noon. After noon, please call ext. 695 for deliveries. No linens, clothing or laundry of any kind shall be shaken or hung from any of the windows, doors, patios, decks, fences, balconies or entry ways. Pool Towels are available at the Indoor Pool.
Trash Removal Trash bins are located in the stairwells. Recycling bins are throughout the Resort. Please do not leave trash in the hallways or on the decks. Please be sure trash bags are secure before placing them in the bins.
Transportation Schedules for air, bus, in-season shuttle service and island ferry service, rental car agencies, taxi and limousine services may be obtained from our Activities Department at the indoor pool or the RSC.
Wake-up Calls Call the Front Desk by Dialing 0.
Whirlpools Fill water above jets before running whirlpools. Bubble baths, soaps, and oils will damage the whirlpool mechanism. Do not overfill or leave room while filling. Exercise extreme caution with regards to falling asleep or prolonged exposure. Please empty the water when finished.
